We speak
Posted by wayne on November 21st, 2009 filed inBut then we’ll part. It’ll happen naturally. We’ll be in different places and we’ll have less and less to talk to about. A week will go by and we haven’t talked. A month. It still feels normal. A year and I don’t know you and you don’t know me. Somewhere down the line I’ll say, oh yeah, what happened to that guy? It won’t matter; you’re gone.
It’s bad when I worry with everyone I talk to.

It’s okay if people just meet for a moment, simply passing by each other.
You might pass by each other again somewhere. Isn’t that fine too?
